Bughouse World Championship Finals Update – Postponement and Results

We regret to inform our community that the grand final of the Bughouse World Championship has been postponed indefinitely due to an unfortunate accident involving finalist Zyxon, who has sustained an injury that currently prevents him from playing. We kindly ask everyone to send thoughts and prayers for Zyxon’s speedy and full recovery.

Given the importance of the final match between 12teen + Plotkin and ChickenCrossRoad + Zyxon, we as organizers do not see any urgency in awarding the win by default. The final will be played when Zyxon is ready—we are all hoping for that day to come soon.

The match for third place between Angry Birds (TheDuck + Penguin) and BughouseLad + zbbesque has also not yet been played. Angry Birds have made the most effort to schedule the match and were close to being awarded the win by default. However, we still hope that this exciting clash can be played out as intended.

Meanwhile, the Challengers Section has concluded with great energy and competitive spirit.
