Bybit Alliance Chess Arena: important information!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Alliance Chess club! Tomorrow, the Bybit Alliance Chess tournament starts and we would like to share some (additional) important information with you. Please read through the list below. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here!

- Tomorrow at 17:00 CET, you can join the Arena here: https://www.chess.com/play/arena/2525813?action=undefined&clubId=467113. The tournament starts 18:00 CET, but the button to join the tournament appears 1 hour before the start.

- Keep in mind that it is required to have played 20 rated Blitz games in order to join the tournament. We enforce this rule to ensure ratings are less provisional, so that there will be less confusion and more accurate ratings.

- Make sure to sign up here in order to be eligible for prizes. It is important to sign up with your Bybit ID! The registration form will be closed at 17:00 CET tomorrow, so make sure to sign up beforehand.

- Arenas are designed in such way that you can always join later between 18:00 and 20:00 CET or stop whenever you want. Leaving the tournament early will not lead to disqualification.

- After the arena ends, you can submit your favorite games in a Google form that will be published later.

- Before prizes will be distributed to the winners, Chess.com will perform fair play checks.

- For the prizes of the 3 rating categories, we will take the ratings at the start of the tournament into account. Keep in mind that sandbagging (purposely losing rating) is violating the fair play policy as well.
