Call for players - County Championship & Cup Tie v Kent

Although it's only January, our next match is potentially the most important of the 2025 season.

Having reached the 3rd Round of the County Cup, we find oursleves drawn against Kent. The match will be a double header, also counting for the County Championship this season.

In 2024, Kent were the strongest County side, winning the league and on course to also win the cup. That said we are capable of matching them if we get everyone turning out for this tie. In our European Inter Regional Championship match with them we are currently 30-31 in a 37 board contest and looking at the remaining games, we have the potential to win that and deny them a 'treble'. If we can win this next fixture against them it is possible for us to do the treble ourselves this season, or at least take a big step to securing a trophy.
