Celebrating the Summer Solstice - 21 June 2015

It is titled, "Celebrating the Summer Solstice - 21 June 2015."  In the Northern Hemisphere is is the longest day of the year (in the Southern Hemisphere it is the shortest day and the Winter Solstice!).

The match starts the exact minute the Solstice arrives - 9:38 AM on 21 June.

Throughout history, and in many cultures, this is one of the most significant days on the calendar.  For Vikings, this was a traditional meeting day of the Clan heads to settle disputes.

Also, the evening of the Solstice was marked by a community bonfire, to "burn ut the winter witch."
