Chess Lessons!
Members of Powerful Pawns,
Being in the Powerful Pawns group is not just about playing matches and vote chess games. Sure by playing in team matches you are able to practice chess and discuss ideas in our vote chess games. So you already are learning a lot of things, however, to us that isn't enough. We want to improve your chess skills to the best of our ability. We need to go beyond just playing chess to the next stage: Lessons.
Some of you may already take chess lessons from a coach, online coach, chess.com videos, or in any other way. I highly recommend you all get a private one on one lesson from a chess master so you can learn even more things and get better. For some that is not an option and again for some they need more!
That is why we are now offering FREE online chess lessons. Now these lessons are not with a coach but instead kind of like a lecture.
Each week you will receive an online chess lesson. These lessons will consist of the following material:
- Tactics
- Annotated Chess Master Games
- Opening Study
- End Game Study
- Strategy Study
- Student Games Analyzed
All of this is completely free! Here is what you have to do:
- Lessons will be sent through the group news but we need to know a few things first. Please fill out this google form for us inorder to help us create better lessons: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1clln9eQQ_2AWph7d2Ha4jqrgO5pcgnWkI1SFXTNkdfw/viewform
- Once that is completed you can wait for our first lesson. After that lesson another form will be sent out asking about our next topics and allowing you to send in games you played to be analyzed.
The type of lesson each week will vary with a new topic each time (Usually once per week)
Lesson format will vary each time as well based on responses from the form above.
Thank you for your time, now we give you ours in these chess lessons. (please note I am NOT making them... Each week we will have lesson prepared by a chess master, though the video may not be recorded by them, but the material will be!)
