Chess Tournaments

Hello SRHS Chess Club members. You might know, I play over the board nationally rated tournaments fairly often. I plan on making announcements about opportunities to play in nationally rated tournaments. You will need a national chess ID, which you can get here (it will cost some money, but is cheaper here than most other places). There is some etiquette that needs to be followed in tournament, and I will create a separate post about that. If you have any questions you can ask me at chess club or message me on chess.com. I hope this will provide a fun way for everyone here to be able to expand their chess knowledge, skills, and experience.
