Chess University Presents KnowCOVID.com
Chess Learners,
I hope you are staying safe during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
To help keep the public updated with facts and tips about this disease, Chess University and myself personally have funded KnowCOVID.com. I encourage you to check out this website and subscribe there to stay updated.
The world has been disrupted by COVID-19 and the chess world is no exception. Chess tournaments, camps, and events are being cancelled. 94 people have died in Washington State, where Chess University is headquartered, and even one of our instructors is suspected to have the Coronavirus. My advice would be to avoid participating in any in-person chess tournaments or public events as the fatality rate here is high relative to the flu and other virus-based diseases.
Due to the sudden surge in demand for online chess coaching and programs we are working to revise our upcoming offerings. Stay safe and stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, go enjoy some Puzzle Rush!
