City Creek Chess USCF Quick Quads!

 City Creek Chess is looking forward to hosting a USCF-rated Quad tournament!

A Quad is a four-player round-robin tournament where everyone will be divided into groups of four players of similar rating, then they will play three rounds to declare the overall winner of that Quad!

Details:

When: 1/17/24; We will be playing three rounds in each Quad. The time control will be G/15 minute with 3 sec. delay (g/15 d3) per round.

Schedule:

6:00 PM – Announcements & Questions
6:10 PM – Pairings & Post Wallcharts
6:15 PM – Round one
7:00 PM – Round two
7:45 PM – Round three

Registration: (due to seating limits, we can only allow a max of 12 players)

Registration is open and ends by 1/12/24. Entry fee is $5. You can register:

A.  In-person with Daniel Munoz during our weekly Wednesday meetups
B.  Emailing your USCF ID to dmunoz.core@outllook.com and paying the entry fee by 6:00 PM the day of the Quads.

Prizes:

Quad winners: 1st place $13; 2nd place $7. (Ties will be broken by whoever has the higher published USCF rating)
