Clear 1st Place Winner in Yesterday's 15|10 Rapid Tournament

The club wishes to congratulate (chessgm8) for winning 1st place in yesterday’s Rapid tournament with 3/3 points and the minimum guaranteed prize of $40.

The tournament concluded in only 3 rounds, instead of the normal 4 rounds, with only 6 players in attendance as most local competitive players are participating in the first-ever online Continental Chess 2020 World Open this weekend.

There was a 2-way tie for 2nd Place, where camdaman2003 and phiro47 each had 2/3 points and received a combined prize award of $20 each.

Other winners include (IM-Brennan) for our Top U1500 prize of $15 and (super_koi_fish) winning our Top U1200 prize of $15.

We had 6 club players competing in yesterday’s Rapid online prize tournament that includes a results table listing all the players and tournament pairings, and we look forward to this Saturday’s Rapid online prize tournament on August 15th that starts exactly at 2pm EST!
