Club matches

Our first match has started (against momolanders).   Michaeljh123 and lime 56 are representing Wigan.  You can see the progress of each game on the club page on chess.com. I will endeavour to get a more even match against teams in future.

Six of us have signed up for the match against New Metropol (so far).  But only one player has joined from the opposition.  I will cancel the match if they do not offer a decent team to play us.

We have a new match against chess rogues starting on Wednesday next week.  They look like they will be a strong team.  Please sign up if you fancy having a go.

Finally, following Tom’s message I aim to be at St Jude’s on Thursday.  Look out for a bald bloke with a London accent.
