Club Tournament 8 invite has been sent. We need 15 players. Have 5 currently.
Invites have been sent. If you are in this club be active, that is why you joined correct. I am sure many of you have turned notifications off or just ignore them. But then why did you join? So we need 15 more players to start. I know that certain announcements get up to 50 club members. Some get less than 10. If you want to see in house club tournaments, or club vs club battles, we cannot perform them if you do not show up.
I have started a purge on people that have not logged in for a while. They can reapply when and if they do log into chess.com. That will actually give me an accurate assessment of how many people in club are active. I can only purge 20 at a time, to prevent someone going fruitloops and just kicking everyone. So in the next few days I will be kicking inactive chess.com members out and we will see where we are after.
Inhouse Tournament #8 our 4th Inhouse Rated Daily Club Tournament!

20 player in house Daily Club Tournament # 4, our 8th daily Tournament. We need 20 club members to sign up for this. Our 4th Chess960 Inhouse Tournament was somehow shared to people that were never in the club. Not sure who did that. it did fill up but with 13 non-members, one of which was banned in the first round.
A Club member was also banned for fair play policy as well. So please DO NOT cheat in these tournaments. I have ran 7 previouse Inhouse tournaments, 4 Chess960 dailys, & 3 Regular Dailys with 9 players (1 non-member & 8 club members getting banned for fair play violations). This is a major concern, so if you are going to cheat, Do Not Play.
With 20 players, the Tournament will last 3 rounds, 2 people will advance from each group until 4 are remaining in the final. There is a 10 daily game minimum needed to enter.
I know JD has been pushing a grizzueisawsome streamer vs streamer club battle to occur. we cannot even fill a 20 player inhouse tournament. We can fill a ten player or get close to it. But we can not even compete in a club battle currently. I might have to consider doing a purge and see who comes back. I am doing my best to work my tail off to form events and special tournaments, and rarely are there even comments on them. Why should I put out that effort into if no one shows up or comments? I know we have a small amount of people that do care and appreciate the evnts. They enter every time. But it might be just time to cut members that do not participate (this excludes other streamers and content creators that have joined) I appreciate them being here since if we can get people to particippate, we can get inter club play going.
