Club Updates and Invitational News

Good afternoon and happy Friday to All!

Another week has flown by and we are growing ever nearer to our tournament!  Please read the updates below.

First, I have seen some of you playing chess and that is exciting!  I hope you continue to play and have fun with your opponents.  Practice is the best way to get better.  For those that have not been playing, I need to make sure that I am still able to contact you and keep you updated.  I don't want you to become stagnant waiting for the tournament.  

I am going to create an invitational event that will have the same format as our tournament and I am going to post it next week.  You will be able to join it just like the tournament on the 27th, but this will give you a chance to learn how the website works and how the tournament will go.

This is the most important part of this post:  I need to verify your names along with your Chess.com profiles.  I have created a form that you can fill out (it should take about 30 seconds) so that I can organize all of the data in coordinating the tournament.  Please fill this out so I can move forward with the tournament planning.  Here is the form:
