USCF Section: $35 if registered by February 21st, $40 for on-site registration
Scholastic & Casual Sections: $5 if registered by February 21st, $10 for on-site registration

We are thrilled to announce that Senior Master (SM) Rodney Malpert will be joining us as the special guest for the CNCC Winter Classic on February 22nd!
About Rodney Malpert:
-Senior Master (SM): The highest title in US Chess, earned with an extraordinary 2400+ rating.
-Nebraska Chess Prodigy: Became a Nebraska State Champion at 16 and achieved the Master title in junior high school in Lincoln during the 1970s.
-State Champion in Oklahoma and runner-up in New York—a consistent champion across states.
-Senior Master Title: Attained in the 1990s during graduate school in New York after a return to competitive chess.
Rodney is now embracing chess philanthropy and mentoring in Nebraska while competing in Senior Championships.
At the Winter Classic:
Rodney will:
-Analyze games with players, offering expert insights.
-Deliver an inspiring 15-minute talk on an endgame position, showcasing the great beauty of chess through a simplified position.
-Play a simultaneous exhibition with participants after the awards ceremony.
