Hi coaches,

Over the past year, we've launched or improved many features you can use to help your students soar! Here are some of the updates you might have missed:

New Move List

We've made major improvements to our move list to make it more readable and intuitive than ever. This will make things easier for your students when analyzing games:

  • More intuitive and easier to read
  • Easier to understand comments and move annotations
  • Easier to follow variations, especially when there are multiple possible lines

Read more about the new move list here.

New Explore Tab

Speaking of analyzing games, we further improved our analysis tools by launching the Explore tab. With this, your students can now:

  • Seamlessly go from checking our opening database to analyzing the rest of their game with Game Review and other tools
  • See all the lines that masters play and how they score
  • Easily check games in any opening variation without ever leaving their own game analysis

Check out the Explore tab update here.

Shareable Tournaments

We have also recently launched our new Shareable Tournaments feature. Now, you don't have to ask your students to join a club before you create a tournament between them. Simply create a tournament and send a shareable link to your students, and they can play in it!

Quality Improvements To Classroom

We've made numerous quality improvements to our Classroom feature to make it more stable and reliable than ever. With Classroom, you can:

  • Deliver lessons to your students without ever having to leave Chess.com or rely on third-party tools
  • Easily access their games and analyze them together
  • Ask your students to make moves and control the board
  • And more!
