Our Monday 5:15 Developmental Class (K-8) is almost sold out, so to get ahead of things we're adding a Wednesday 5:15 Developmental Class (K-8) also taught by Coach Sean! Despite winter weather, classes are still on! Enrolled students should check email for any developments to the contrary.
4:45 p.m. Kid's Night Suited for K-12 players who are new or rated under 1000, we offer a rated tournament with a medal to the winner, an unrated tournament for new players with a USCF membership to the winner, and free casual play.
6:30 p.m.: Quad Night! G/25+5. Quads place you in a group of four players as closely rated to you as possible, with three rounds to determine the winner. $20 Entry fee can win $40 ($45 for a perfect score). You must be registered by 6:20 p.m. to participate, so don't wait until it's too late!

5:30 p.m. January 3+2 Super Blitz Double Swiss! Six rounds of 3+2 Double Swiss Blitz! This kind of "fifth week of the month" event doesn't come around often, so let's have some fun!

Kid's Night:
We had a great time at kids night! Thank you to Coaches Brandon, Sean, and James for directing the event. Shoutout to Lake Freeman for winning a membership to US Chess as our unrated winner. In the A section, Ezra Grice won the medal, in the B section Lydia Nimmich won her medal, and in the C section Lucas Lone won his medal. Kid's Night growing so much we're up to three sections for the first time--but we've got more room!
Congratulations to Tyler Murrah and Thomas Kemp Jr for winning our rapid tournament. In the top section of classical month Arnav Singh and Sean Miller won the event with 3.5/4 points. Shoutout to Joe Darr for winning sole first place in the lower section with 3.5/4 points. Shoutout to our 8 year old 3rd grader Ellie Jordan for lending her photography skills to the club for the evening.
