Congratulations to Calder Feinstein for taking first place in our first Community Chess League!
Calder finished with a perfect 3/3 points and a new CR of 952! Calder is an upcoming club player who defeated Lenden Rhodes in the league final.
Lenden Rhodes, who currently has a USCF Quick rating of 1445, finished with a CR of 932, tied for second place, alongside the father-son duo, Jefferson and Isaac Brown, with a score of 2/3 points in this league.
Jefferson had to fight to score their last win against Jason Barton, a returning tournament player with a USCF Quick rating of 1412. Meanwhile, Isaac scored their last win on time against tournament newcomer Anthony Gale by not giving up and forcing them to spend a lot of time looking for an advantage, leading Isaac to a win on time.
