Congratulations! Our first goal has been reached
Dear Team members,
I am glad to inform that today: we are finally 150 members!
Our goal defined 10 days ago (to allow our team to take part in the upcoming Chess960 League) has been successfully reached even sooner thanks to all of YOU.
Now, let me introduce and summarise what you can find and do here:
- A good start point it is to check our Forum Index:

- One of the most complex and relevant areas of the forums is the Starting Position Data Base I have just started with.

This project will be interesting if we all work together, support and contribute actively to enlarge it. I have to anticipate that almost nothing like that has been created so far. In some other sites, there are drafts or similar projects but none is complete or publicly available, so we are quite pionnering here. You can check that a few forums have been created for some Starting Positions, but taking into account there are 960, we have a tiring job ahead. :)
You are invited to post your games into the respective SP forum, or create it if you can't find it. Simply use the same format of the 2 first post there and later you can include your games (with your own analysis, as showcase or if you are looking for someone else to advise), comments, reviews, analysis...etc. If you have any questions about that, please let me know and will try to help you.
- To play games, you are welcome to participate in our frequent team matches and vote chess games we have in our group. Also, there are thematic tournaments with only Chess960 games.
- If you think you need to learn more about this variant, feel free to read our articles or check the recommended sites / books...etc. to complete and improve your chess skills.
- And if you are tired to play, you can also check our participative thematic forums, or participate in our current side activities (we have already started a chess960 quiz open to everybody and we will have more activities coming soon)
So now, with all this said and done, I would like to present our primary and temporary goals:
- Primary Goals: To have fun, Play chess, Learn more about chess960 and Interact/Share with other team members.

I would like everyone enjoy the group to improve your active participation in all the group areas and of course, get more members and grow everyday. So if you think this group is worthy please hint your friends about it.
Our primary goal is to spread this chess variant to all players.
