Continued Computer Problems

The problem may already be fixed today , but we don't know yet.

A combination of buggy files on my computer was probably the cause. I had a glitchy Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 movie that did not get recorded correctly, which was causing the disk defragmentator to freeze the entire computer. After the errored defragmentation, the computer started to glitch at random times, even though the Disk Defragmentator was not running. I was also experiencing random shutdowns.

However, deleting the freezy Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 movie was not enough. The computer continued to glitch out on the Disk Defragmentation because of something wrong with Google Earth. I uninstalled Google Earth, and the Disk Defragmentator started running properly again, along with all other random freezes. However, I will be forced to run Google Earth on my "spare" Windows XP computer.

I have not had any further problems yet, but because of the time, I cannot get to vote chess today. I just hope that the computer won't freeze anymore.

At least I didn't have to uninstall Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. No files were lost (so far), except the glitchy stuff.
