Countdown to Big Ben, plus Post Your Games at our Chess.com Library

Dear Silverdale Chess Club Players, Friends and Families,
Mark your calendars for July 19th when the Silverdale Chess Club will welcome chess coach, teacher, analyst, humorist and part-time philosopher, Grandmaster Ben Finegold, for an exclusive video presentation on the "origin stories" behind his famous, and uproarious chess memes and perspectives that make chess improvement both more practical and more fun!
The live video stream will begin sharply at 2:45PM so be there and be square, but “not (square) f3 or f6," according to Ben. Those should never be played!
As Ben would say, "My name is Grandmaster Ben Finegold, Ben is my middle name"
"I can't play the fried liver. Why? Because I'm a vegan.”
"Paul Morphy played two main types of opponents, Rufus and Dufus"
"Black can't play that, but he has a really good excuse, it's not his turn to move.”
"Both sides stand badly"
"Checkmate, with advantage."
"There's two famous games: one you know, one you don't know, and the one you know you also don't know.”
You may learn:
• How to “double up on the bubble up.”
• How the move c4 is explosive (or is Not!)
• How "The truth hurts.”
• Why the answer is usually ”Fries!”
