It is tight at the top with just two rounds remaining. We are looking strong for a top three finish and promotion. The Divisional title is tantalisingly in reach if we win all remaining matches.

County Championship Under 1600 Rating 2023 Division 2
Something of a curate’s egg thus far; after an opening win in Round 1 against Norfolk Knights we fell to Staffordshire in round 2 at the death after looking good for a second victory. Currently trailing Bedfordshire-Northamptonshire in Round 3 by 1-4, but still a long way to go in this match (9 boards). Round 4 opponents Somerset-Wyvern bat deep, so we need to put out a strong roster.
County Championship Under 1300 Rating 2023 Division 5
First round win against Glamorgan and 3-1 up against Shetland in round 2 with 2 games in play means we have made a good start to life in the under 1300 rating Championship. All level in round 3 with Kent Checkmates at half time.
County Championship Cup
The QF against Lanarkshire proved to be a real tussle. Our west of Scotland colleagues has just passed the winning line. Well played to them and best of luck in the rest of the competition. This was always going to be a tough match against a much bigger club able to field several 1700 plus rated players.
