COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 OPEN LEAGUE DIVISION 2 ROUND 6

Round 6 opponents are Northern Knights; the North of England Counties of Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham together with the metropolitan borough of Tyne & Wear. A small club of 43 members, 9 of whom are rated over 1600. On paper one of the weaker teams in Division 2. 

 This is the 12^th season in the County Championship for Northern Knights, and they have yet to achieve promotion to the top Division. Last season they finished 6^th in Div. 2, with a won 3, drawn 2, lost 4 record. They currently lie in 9^th place in the 2024 campaign with no win to their name.
