County Championship Under 1300 Rating 2023 Division 5
Our first season in the under 1300 rating League is proving a little challenging, with a win and a half from the completed three matches. Inverness and Lincolnshire seem well placed to fill the top two positions. We have a shot at third place which would be a solid start. It’s a close contest with Kent Checkmates, currently trailing 4-5 (6 boards) but Inverness Chess Club are well on top 1-5 (6 boards). Let’s see if we can eek out a point or two from these matches and have a strong roster for the final two matches against Leinster and Lincs.
