County Championship 2023 Open Division 3
All TFS matches in this season’s campaign now all fully completed. And one match remaining to reach a conclusion in the League in its entirety, with Cambs and Notts tied at 9 points apiece, with 2 games in play. If Cambs win or draw, then they will join Derbyshire and TFS in Div 2 next season at the expense of Herts.

County Championship Under 1600 Rating 2023 Division 2
It’s an exciting end to the season for the under 1600 team. Our destiny is in our own hands. Win the in-play matches against Sussex and Herts (we are currently ahead in both) and we will win the Divisional title. Win one. Loose one and there are several permutations as to which teams finish in the top two promotion places depending on other results. Loose both and we are out of the game.

All TFS matches now completed with a final tally of played 7, won 2, drawn 1, lost 4. A disappointing debut season for TFS at this level. Not sure the reasons given the performance of under 1300 rated players when playing in under 1600 rated matches. Answers on a postcard please!
