Current Swiss at the DCC and restart of the physical club

Hi all. Currently there is a 9 round swiss at the Durban Chess Club. We are currently playing at St Cyprian's church in Umbilo, Durban. Play starts at 7. Arrive around 6:30 to help setup and socialise before main play, every Thursday.

We are going into round 7 next Thursday. Once we have a roster of events, I will make accouncements here on the start of each event.

Currently the new committee is working out a fee structure which will be announced in the next few weeks. The estimate, or proposals at the general meeting held a few weeks back, were between R300 - R500 per year. With more members, we can lower the fee.

The next event will probably start in the first week of March. As far as I know it is the club championship. Closer to the time I will announce the details here for those interested.
