Dave again!

Friday, June 27 --DaveNourse edged apd and waverley to capture first (and 12 GPP) in our "Your Choice 1.e4" that began May 31 and ended today.  Since he also won the "1. d4" side of this event, this proves there is no safe opening to play against Dave.  gk59 was 4th.  But most pertinent was his defeat of Dave, proving the guy's human after all - at least once in a while.

Eight players took part, earning a total of 36 GPP.

As for our first tourney to start, the Bovril Brouhaha?  It lingers, it lurches, it languishes, creeping at its petty pace from day to day.  Stay tuned!
