Day 1 Olympiad Results and Day 2 Preview
On a day which was filled with excitement and anticipation, everything was gloomy for the Blasters except for the start. The Blasters' Captain wasn't responding and was offline so in a turn of events, the battle was decided to be a 1 v 1. @Kesarling_UT the captain of the Legends, chose his partner @samarjithbiju to participate. In the 4 games, the same result was copied and pasted. @samarjithbiju crushed the Blasters singlehandedly with a score of 4-0.
@MrKingCheckmate the representative of the Blasters, was actually better for a short time in the 2nd game. We will look at it.
In the 1st game the contest was pretty even before @MrKingCheckmate blundered a piece. This piece blunder fitted to the saying LPDO - Loose Pieces Drop Off
The same thing was rolled and rolled again in the remaning games. The 4th game was an even Rook and bishop vs Rook and Knight endgame but @MrKingCheckMate blundered.
@samarjithbiju was in splendid form and was playing with an accuracy of above 90 in the 1st two games.
The Blasters team looks depleted with the strategist not online. If anyone wants to replace him for the time being, pls tell me.

On the News: Day 2 Preview: Things look gloomy for the Challengers as they face the strongest side on paper.( ENLARGE IT - ON PAPER). This side led by @Pawnpusher515 is the strongest one.
But the PlayBold guys seemed to be confident on our latest interview with them.
In their kitchen, they are brewing secret soup as their preparation. With that being said, don't take anything away from the Knights. The Challengers have the advantage of a 3 man squad but, the Knights focus on the saying: Quality is better than Quantity. Who will prevail? Can @ranganh's strategies beat mine?
