Do we still need online tournaments?

I am trying to figure out if there is a need for online club tournaments. Right now a lot of OTB tournaments are coming back. Schools just started. Please let me know if we still need this kind of daily tournaments. The stats of the tournament players are very discouraging. Today the Arena got cancelled once again.
