Do we want to enter the U1600 league?

Hello all,
Registration is now open for the UK County Championship U1600 league. Do we (or those of us rated under 1600) want to enter?

The idea of the league is to ensure that those players get more games, since they are often pushed off the bottom of team matches by higher-rated players.

It seems to me that, at present, most of our players who sign up for a match in the regular league get a game, since we tend to be one of the smaller teams. But this might change if we drop down a division.

The U1600 league would be the same sort of format: one match a month, involving two daily three-day games for each player.

If we do register for the league, we will start in the lowest division, which has a three-board minimum for matches. I think I would like six firm statements of interest from U1600 players before committing us to it.
