Do you know PUGGLES?
Hola Everyone
Baby Platypus are called Puggles and they are very adorable! Platypus are monotremes also known as egg-laying mammals and are distinctly Australian. The females lays tiny eggs that hatch releasing hairless babies that suckle from her mammary glands. The platypus lacks teats, instead, milk is released through pores in the skin. The milk pools in grooves on her abdomen, allowing the young to lap it up. There are only two monotremes, the Platypus and the Echidna.
They are elusive and often appear like a small piece of wood floating on the surface. However you will see them dip beneath the water where they search for small crustaceans and insect larvae with their sensitive bills.
