Introduction:
Dr. Shahriar was born in April 29th, 1952 at their own residence in Kathal Bagan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 1977 he obtained an MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College. He was the Doctor for Abhani Club. He assisted Bangladesh team in 1st and 2nd SAF Games as a doctor and was a prominent member of Bangladesh sports medicine society.
His father Dr. Hazi Azgar Ali was a generous personality. During the liberation war, he gathered food, medicine, clothing, and money for the freedom fighters. My father [Amir Ali Raana’s father , The organizer of the tournament)]Late Md Shamsher Ali was as like a friend ofDr. Hazi Azgor Ali’s.
In his professional life, Dr. Shahriyar treated and donated medicine to the underprivileged people of Bangladesh. Furthermore, he dedicated himself during the country need by working his best for the people. In 1988 hazardous flood was ongoing and he was returning home after donating reliefs; unfortunately, there was an accident with the boat and he died near Amin Bazar, Savar. He served the country as his father.

The number of players: At least 100, a maximum of 300 persons.
This tournament is open to anyone, any rated/ non-rated Bangladeshi player can participate. However,

Tournament Instructions:
1. Participants must have an ID at chess.com and having a complete profile is mandatory. However, for female participants having a name is acceptable.
2. The decision of the organizer is the final decision and will have the authority to make any decision at any time. If anyone has an objection, it will be scrutinized by the admin committee which consists of 3 members.
3. Every player should follow the rules and fair play policy of chess.com
4. If your ID becomes restricted by chess.com for taking any illegal means then the tournament committee shall not be liable. Furthermore, that culprit player will be banned from the club forever and will be forbidden from playing future tournaments. Lastly, this news will be published everywhere on social media.
5. For participating in the tournament every player must have enlisted as a member of the Golden Sporting Club group. If you’re an existing member the tournament link should be enclosed 1 hour before the starting time and you can participate by clicking the join button.
6. Nevertheless, who wants to participate they are requested again to send their name, mobile, chess.com user ID, FIDE, and Facebook ID (Optional) to goldensportingclub14@gmail.com. Only the verified profiles will be allowed to participate.
7. The result will be published after 9 rounds.
8. Prizemoney will be sent to the winners after 3 working days through mobile banking.
