Edin Dzeko has been voted the Etihad Player of the Month for January.

The Bosnian striker polled a record number of supporters’ votes – almost 5,000 – as he fended off the substantial challenges of Sergio Aguero, who finished second and Alvaro Negredo who finished third.

It’s Dzeko’s first Etihad award of the season.
