I, Archon shahhussainkcl, on this the thirty-sixth day of the sixth prytany, that of the tribe Oineis, hereby appoint the following eight new Military Magistrates:

9. Taxiarch M-W-R of The Aiantis Tribe
10. Taxiarch chessnurse77 of The Antiochis Tribe

Taxiarchs of New Athens have a dual role:

• Within the tribes, they serve as assistants to their tribal Phylarch (tribal chief) and ensure continuity of training war games (vote chess) when the Phylarch proper is not online. They are admins of their tribe in order to be able to perform their duties.
• Within New Athens, they are responsible for their tribe's Taxiarch battles (rating U1600). They are not admins of New Athens but may instruct any online General to take action on the U1600 battle the Taxiarch is responsible for. Generals must note the request at the Military Magistrates' Court before executing.

For clarity, order of seniority within New Athens goes:

1. Generals
2. Taxiarchs
3. Phylarchs

and within the tribes goes:

1. Phylarchs
2. Taxiarchs
3. Generals

These appointments and the required admin-privs are effective immediately and all named Taxiarchs shall be extended the appropriate respect.
