End of Fall 2025 Semester

Hello everyone, it sounds like most people have other business, such as exams and general end-of-semester work, that needs to be taken care of. So unfortunately that means there will be no club meeting today, or for the rest of 2025. Thanks everyone for coming out, and we hope you had fun at the Simul last week!

If you're itching for more over-the-board chess over the holiday break, check out HCF's list of meetups across the state. I'm told some of these may not be the most up-to-date, so double-check with the listed organizers for confirmation. For a more competitive environment, there is also the World Chess Festival from Dec 28-31 at Blaisdell, with different options to suit your preferences.

Our first club meeting of 2026 will be during the week of Jan 12-16, time and location TBA. I will post the meeting time and location as a comment to this announcement as soon as we set it. We will also have a poll going to help us determine the regular day/time for the rest of the semester, so join our Discord server or stop by in-person at the meeting to provide your input! A new announcement will be posted once we have the regular room booked.
