Endgames
Hey guys! Haven't been active in a while aye? Well let's talk about endgames. Endgames are usually the ones who decide the outcome of the game and the endgame is decided by the middlegame, and the middlegame is decide by the opening, and the opening is decided by the first 1-3 moves of the game. The endgame is usually where most games end followed up by the middlegame and opening. There are ways to take some advantage in the endgame like:
- Bringing your king out of its hiding spot,
- Getting your pieces active,
- Promoting or underpromoting pawns,
- Calculating,
- etc.
Doing one of these will put you into a good or better spot depending on the position and the pieces on the board. Why I'm I putting endgames in a lesson? Well, most people/chess players tend to underestimate endgames due to how easy it looks, larger spaces on the board, etc. But little did they know that endgames are the ones that show the true colors and advantages each chess players have.
Well, that's about it and by the way, I won't be active on Mon-Fri, so I am counting on the coordinators, admins, and super admins to help get this club growing, active, and fun!
