Now let’s continue with our englund gambit, which starts with 1.d4 2.e5, also I forgot to tell you that this gambit is mostly for black and it happens when white push the queen’s pawn toward the Center.

now let me tell you another variation, if your opponent takes your pawn and you move your kight to c6, they don’t care about their pawn and move their king’s pawn to e4, well then you just take their e5 pawn with your knight and remember to move your knight back to c6 if their pieces attacks it! This is the position https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/64854209593?tab=analysis

now let me tell you another one, if your opponent takes your pawn and you move your knight to c6, they may do a tricky move which is bishop to f4 protecting the pawn and making some traps for you, because here I think most of the people will play queen to e7, adding another attacker to the pawn, but now they have a brilliant move which is knight to c3, the idea is simple, it prevents your queen from forking the king and the bishop and this knight is also setting you a trap! When your knight takes the pawn, their knight will move to d5, threatening your queen and a fork between the king and the rook. Therefore you have to move your queen to d6, and now they will likely to do the other knight to f3. And it’s winning for white! Ok now let me tell you another other other position, let’s continue the position where your opponent have taken your pawn and your horse has moved. Now they will do kight to f3, same thing and your queen to e7, ok but this time is different, they move their bishop to g5, boom! They are attacking your queen! Here don’t worry you just simply move your queen to e6 or c5 and that’s it! You’re going to win the pawn in the middle! This is the position https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/64854209593?tab=analysis

now it’s your turn to play this risky opening, next time we’ll learn another kind of englund gambit, have a merry Christmas and a happy  new year!😊
