England has defeated Pakistan by an innings despite Pakistan (Masood 151, Agha 104*, Shafique 102, Shakeel 82) scoring 556 in there first innings, England (Brook 317, Root 262, Duckett 84, Crawley 78) declared for 823 a mammoth score in response including a partnership of 454 between Root and Brook. Pakistan responded with just 220 (Agha 63, Jamal 55*) which wasnt enough to have another bowl at the poms who won the game by an innings and 47 runs. Leach was the hero with the ball taking match figures of 7/190 as England go back to Multan for the second test with a 1-Nil lead.
