EUROPEAN CITIES LEAGUE (ECL) ROUND 6
Round 6 and are opposition are the Ukrainian city of Ternopil. Their Club has a membership of 200 with over a dozen players rated 1800 and above.
Strong opposition on paper, although their record in the ECL this season is patchy: 2 wins to date, but against weaker teams in the Division, and a further virtual point from three matches still in play. They currently lie in 5th place one place lower than us.
We are moving towards crunch time with each round becoming important in terms of achieving a strong finish to the season and challenging for the promotion places.
