What Is A Simul?

In case you're new to the concept: a simul, or simultaneous exhibition, is a special format where a strong player competes against multiple opponents at the same time. In this event, Ayelen will play on multiple boards, making one move per game before proceeding to the next. Ayelen will have 45 minutes to complete all his games, while each challenger will have 20 minutes to complete their game. All games will be played with a 15-second increment.

All games will be broadcast on our Events page, with a five-minute delay to ensure fairness and integrity for all participants.

Why You Should Join

Participating in a simul like this is an exciting opportunity to play against a titled player in a unique, fast-paced environment. It's a fantastic way to:

  • Put your preparation and tactics to the test
  • Gain insights from playing against high-level opponents
  • Enjoy the fun and energy of a community event
  • And of course… earn some serious bragging rights if you manage to win or hold a draw!

How To Participate

This time, we are focusing on players rated under 1600; we'll select 15 players across various ratings below that threshold.

If you'd like to be considered, click the button below to register. If selected, we'll reach out with full details and instructions ahead of the event.

Whether you're playing or just cheering on your fellow Improvers, we hope you'll join us for what promises to be another fun and inspiring event.

See you there!
