FCT: Mentor & Protege Session
Dear members of Flying Chess Team,
We are going to organize a Mentor & Protégé Session for the benefit of our new & budding members. Please enroll yourselves at this forum if you would need a Mentor.
Only those with ratings 1500 and below are allowed to be Protégés. A person with ratings of 1600 could mentor those with ratings 1300 and below.
The conditions are as follows:
- Title of the game: FCT-Mentor & Protégé Session
- 5 days per move
- Takeback game (unrated – this is to ensure that Protégés are able to absorb the tips given by their Mentors).
We would like to encourage those with higher ratings to help those with lower ratings; giving them tips on how to play the game (especially in the opening & middlegame).
Mentors: Please assist your protégé in their lines (the pros & cons of their move).
Protégé: Do ask questions otherwise your Mentor would assume that you know your line well.
