When someone is losing a chess game, they might think of just resigning the game. Well, I don't think resigning the game that quick is good, because it always depends on the position. If white/black had a position advantage, but losing in material there are some chances of winning the game. It would make sense if white/black were winning the game and they do not have any weaknesses, so at that point, you can resign or just wait for them to make a mistake, it could even be a draw if you try to make one.

If you were winning in position-wise, but losing in the material. Look for the following ways to win the game. If you still cannot win the game then try for a draw (NEVER RESIGN).

Very Attacking

King in Danger

Back rank weakness
