Finally Got to PLay the Traxler!

This was an online 3 day chess match where I got to play the Traxler! It’s all theory this. Obviously we were both using the databases (which is permitted of course). Not sure I could find all these moves on my own tbh but it was an interesting journey and I always wanted to play this opening because it’s so messy and double edged. The kind of opening where being decent tactically you will do well. Anyway it was great. I've included my annotations in the pgn. Some of my comments were made during the game and some after the match was over. I was astonished to see that 9.c3 is actually a blunder when so many people had played it. I played the top move in the database of course but was delighted to see that it was wrong after the game. It favoured the best but comes up short. Won’t be playing that again for sure. If I'm ever lucky enough to play it that is. My last lot of correspondence games I ventured into unknown territory deliberately to do something new. It’s been great being thrown into strange positions and I’d recommend anyone reading this do the same with their correspondence games .
