Firouzja wins 2021 Bullet Chess Championship

Firouzja got revenge in this year's bullet chess championship.

Even though he was 4th seed he showed tremendous performance.

Firouzja faced Tang in the finals, but Firouzja was to strong for Tang and won 11-5

So let's see how both of these players got to the finals

Firouzja faced Artemiev who he made a comeback in tiebreaks, and Nakamura 10-8.

Tang faced Sarin and won 8.5-7.5, and Naroditsky.

So that brings us back to the question we had at the start: How did Firouzja get revenge?

Well, he won against Nakamura!

So here's the story: Nakamura actually beat Firouzja not once, but twice!

In the 2019 Bullet Chess Championship Firouzja lost to Nakamura 9.5-7.5.

In the 2020 Bullet Open Chess Championship he lost to Nakamura again with 6.5-3.5!

And also with this win Firouzja has climbed to the top of the bullet leaderboard on chess.com!
