First Albany Oregon Tournament

Hello AOCC currently this concept is in its infancy and isn’t perfectly refined. The goal is to figure out what people are most interested in as it pertains to this event.

so I plan on making an official over the board tournament this summer with cash prizes. So far I’ve been working on validating the club to make sure that prizes, expenses, etc are all within guidelines of the powers that be. On the logistical front chess boards and clocks will need to be acquired which I intend to work on these coming months. A location is also very important, but that can be decided closer to the tournament date.

in the mean time, I’m curious what your opinions are on time format, pairing system, and round set up. I’m open to all suggests, which ever appears to be most popular I’ll pursue
