
Forcing Moves
What are forcing moves and how will they help you in chess?
Forcing moves are checks, threats and captures. Those are moves that the opponent must respond to immediately in order to avoid losing material or the game.
These are basically powerful moves that makes your opponent have to do soemthing about it.
Lets look at a example.
Here you see the forcing move which d4 has to move the bishop back then e5 forks the knigth and bishop. This is a example of a forcing move.
