Format
The 2023/2024 Season will begin in August and feature 12 teams competing in a round robin regular season
A match win in the regular season will give a team 3 points and a match draw will give a team 1 point so as a player on a team be sure to do your best not draw to many matches and only draw if you have to. Tiebreak for playoff seeds/playoff spots if necessary will be head to head (between the two or more tied teams, with the team with the higher score against the other(s) receiving the higher spot/seed), followed by the number of total wins a team has compared to the other(s). In the crazy event there still is a tie after those the team with the fewest losses will receive the higher spot/seed but wins matter and each one you get might make the difference
The top 6 teams with the highest score at the end of the regular season will qualify for playoffs and the 3rd highest seed will face off against the 6th highest seed in round 1 while the 4th highest seed will face off against the 5th highest seed. The winners of those matches then will face the number 1 and 2 seed in the semi finals who received 1st round byes, with the highest remaining seed fighting the 2 seed and the lowest remaining seed fighting the number 1 seed. And the winners of those matches then will face each other in the championship for the Interdimensional Multiverse champion title
The higher seed in playoffs matches will receive draw odds if the end match score is a tie, so if you're the lower seed you'll need to beat the higher seed team to advance or win the championship. So it is important to do your best to get as high of a seed as you can in the 11 regular season matches to make it to the playoffs and if you can pull it off get the number 1 seed so that you have time to rest and prepare for the championship and have draw odds throughout the playoffs .
Anyone interested in being an admin for a team so that they can invite members should let me know so i can give them the ability to do so/may the league/race to the championship begin Best, Kevin
