"Friday CLASH" B event #34 starts in 3 hours!
Hi guys! It's time for the B event now! Note that you cannot participate in both A and B events!! So, the following players mustn't join the B event:
@kraunak60, @Malkolmn, @champion-19, @BoraBoy, @roseherard, and @Litmatchess.
The start time is 6 pm CDT!
If you have any questions throughout the event, feel free to ask @1e4-2Nf3isbest, as he will manage the B event! In case he won't be able to control the Knockout, PLEASE play it by yourself.
Two situations might happen:
There are >=8 people in the Swiss part. Here, 1st player in the Swiss part plays 8th, 4th plays 5th, 2nd plays 7th, 3rd plays 6th. Then, 1st/8th plays 4th/5th in the first Semifinal, 2nd/7th plays 3rd/6th in the second Semifinal.
There are <8 people in the Swiss part. Here, 1st player in the Swiss part plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd. Then winners of these pairs play in the Final.
Each Knockout match is 6 main games and 1 extra armageddon game: firstly, FOUR 3+0 blitz games, then, if the score is 2-2, TWO 2+1 bullet games, and, if the winner is still unknown, 1 Armageddon game (Black wins if the game ends in a draw): time control is 2|0, but White gets 3 minutes while Black stays with 2. To achieve this, your opponent MUST be your friend! When a game starts, Black needs to click on the "Gift 15 seconds" button 4 times:
