Fry some Livers?
Seems we have a few members now and I am looking to see if anyone is interested in studying the Fried Liver? I have been teaching it to my 2 daughters and it is funny to see them beat advanced players with the oldest trick in the book.
I like how simple it is and it is something that is good to know how to play against.
I suggest 2. Bc4 over 2. Nf3 b/c it limits blacks reasonable reply.
Black almost always Plays Nf6 or Nc6 but it doesn't matter what order black plays.
I
don't want to go into too much detail but black might be hip to the Fried Liver and go for the interesting Traxler but if you know what you are doing it isnt a problem. It is funny to see how many people get confused by the oldest trick in the book.
I will post some basic ideas from some of the games I have seen. Sometimes Black seems to know an 11 move mainline obscure variation and they can come out of it with a slight advantage but I have only seen this in Online games verses Live chess.
I am going to set up an UNRATED tournament Study so that we can look @ this simple opening.
