Get Ready For Our First Online Club Tournament Tomorrow

Hey guys thanks for joining, this club just started but I am happy to see so many people already. I read all of the "introduce yourself" posts and am happy to see a mix of scholastic, casual, coaches, and college players. If you have other outlets or friends in NW Washington, consider sending them an invite as well.

So the first tournament is scheduled for tomorrow at 6PM PST. Though they are tournaments, they are not meant to be super competitive, more as a good practice tool and medium for us to all get used to each other. You don't need to participate in all tournaments to be apart of the club of course. But we would encourage you to participate with us when they do occur.

To join a tournament all you need to do go to "Play" > "Live Chess" > "Tournaments". There will be displayed different chess.com and club tournaments, just look for the scheduled club tournament for that day and join it before the start time.

Tomorrow's tournament has been posted, so you should be able to view it when you follow the above instructions. The current schedule will always be updated in both the forum and front page of the club, but I will post the current schedule below.

Tuesday night blitz - 5/5 - 6PM

Thursday night rapid - 10/5 - 6PM

Sunday rapid - 15/5 - 2PM
