Group Guidlines
I hesitate to add guidlines, but after being part of several groups that began well, only to wander away from their intended goals, I thought a few guidelines might be a good idea. Let's stay true to helping each other improve our game. All posts should be on that topic, whether answering or asking a chess related question. Let us all be cordial to each other, no telling someone they made a stupid move even if it was a stupid move, instead explain why that was a poor choice and offer several that would have been better and why. Only post finished games, not games in progress. It isn't fair to your opponent if you post a game in progress seeking help. I'll look at all posted games and add comments. That is how I improve my game. I encourage everyone to challenge other members of the group with the winner posting the game here so we can all discuss the outcome. Doing so will help all of us improve. Any othe suggestions on the do's and don't's of this group are welcomed.
In time, I'd like our membership to be among the most improved players on this site....Jake
