Hail Chaturangers

Hello everyone and welcome to the new Chaturangers' Club!

As the name may suggest the main topic here will be the Chaturanga - which is called Shatranj outside of Chesscom - but also other variants associated with it ... That is basically all versions of Chess, past, present and future, with a greater regard for the historical ones.

The goal is not only to chat, but also to play, because this is the only way to keep alive those variants that would otherwise die out. And here we are talking about nothing less than the original game of Chess, at least 1500 years old, so its preservation should be of an undisputed importance...

Anyway, what matters most is to have fun, and we will do it by playing live games and eventually organizing tournaments, both among ourselves and against other clubs. More or less, these are the prospects. Even if you are just curious and want to be a spectator, that's fine too.
